Job Details:


We are looking for kind, loving and caring people just like you to join our team helping and supporting our vulnerable service users in their own homes, full time hours, evenings and weekends available.


Your visits are not just about the practical help that you will be providing, you are also there to support our service users' emotional needs - they may live alone and be somewhat isolated from society. Which is why the relationship that a service user has with their carers is a very special one – kindness,love,care and a smile from a carer can make our service users day!


Visits are 7 days a week, 365(6) days a year - sometimes more than once in a day on a rota – at varying times of the day, depending on what they need help with and will include:

To support other care workers in the practical care provided to service users. To assess and sign off new carer shadowing rotas.

Assist with the physical care of service users by helping with: Dressing and undressing Personal care hygiene, bathing of eyes, mouth, hair and nails Care of skin and pressure areas Continence management Preparing, serving and assisting feeding of meals and drinks Escorting service users in preparation and support in going out to do daily activities. Walking, shopping, hairdressing appointments etc. To record accurate, concise and timely records of service user care, medication, financial, wound pressure or dietary charts, concern forms, communications logs and accident forms to update the Company database. To report to the Senior Team Leader on any aspects of service user care which you feel warrants investigation or urgent attention. To follow emergency procedures and escalate any issues arising immediately. Participate in appropriate training, including NVQ3 and attend staff meetings as requested by your manager.

Attending MDT meetings and contributing to them

Driving company vehicles (current driving licence holders subject to procedures)

Receiving training and professional development programs appropriate to the role and maintaining an up to date training profile
