CASE STUDY: LOGANAIR
CHALLENGE
Before implementing TEMPO into their organization, maintenance crews from Loganair would spend up to 48 hours performing a routine Light A-Check on their passenger aircraft.
PROCESS
To make real organizational improvements, a trial was designed with a few targeted goals in mind.
Planners targeted a 50% reduction in turnaround time on routine Light A-Checks, bringing total check time down from 48 hours to 24.
RESULTS
Even with such an ambitious goal, trial results exceeded all expectations. Maintenance crews smashed through their target time, completing scheduled tasks in 11.5 hours, a 70% reduction in lost time.
